The internship in short
Your internship starts off with an introduction to SEB and ends with a presentation of your experiences to managers, colleagues and other summer interns. As an intern, you will be involved in our daily business activities and have a great opportunity to explore the environment of global trading and commercial banking. What you will do
As a summer intern in Credit Analysis, you will assist our corporate analysts in the preparation of the basic analytical work, such as financial modeling and business and market reviews. In doing this, you will gain valuable insights into the credit risk assessment principles. In addition, you will support us by using and developing Excel-based tools for e.g. peer comparisons and templates for credit memo inputs.
Credit Analysis supports SEB with credit analysis of counterparties, industries and transactions globally. We are located in Stockholm, Frankfurt, Helsinki, Oslo and Copenhagen. The department currently employs some 55 credit analysts, who prepare and present analyses and recommendations on the bank's larger corporate clients and financial institutions to the relevant credit committees.
Who are you?
You are a person with a genuine interest in financial markets and financial analysis. Also, we see that you are analytical, a fast learner and have strong problem-solving skills.
You have or are close to, completing your academic degree in Finance or Industrial Economics, preferably with a focus on accounting and finance. You are also well-experienced in Microsoft Excel where VBA programming capabilities is seen as an advantage. Since all communication is in English, written and verbal fluency is required.
