Laird are searching for an enthusiastic Field Application Engineer whose key task will be helping clients in early design stage. Your technical expertise should help customers technologies work by using Laird products.

The Field Application Engineer will regularly attend customer design review meetings and provide technical design support, analyse customer requirements and ensure product meet customer requirements appropriately. You can discover sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements and establish Laird’s value position relative to the competition. You will also utilize all product offerings, providing insightful and detailed design solutions and present design solutions to customer team.

You drive prototype, tool build, and initial production build to meet customer timelines as well as manage and coordinate activities between departments to meet product development requirements and simultaneously set priorities/direction for multiple programs in development. You work with OEM engineers, Manufacturer's Representatives, Distribution Partners and Territory Sales Managers to implement Laird provided solutions for existing, qualifying new and next generation and cost reduction programs. You make sure the work skills are up to date to ensure Laird competitiveness in a dynamic global business environment and adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.

You have good technical knowledge and network within the Telecom industry, innovative technical understanding and can discuss and communicate technical details both at a high level and in simple layman skills. Excellent analytical skills, able to give convincing technical presentations & trainings, and maintain the relationship with customers. You know how to work independently, employ customer-oriented strategic thinking to develop strategies how to approach the customer. You have a technical degree, and you are fluent in both English and Swedish.
