Important Looking Pirates (ILP) is a multiple VES and Emmy award winning studio and have created animation and visual effects for some of the greatest storytellers. Your role as Systems Administrator
As a Systems Administrator, you will be part of ILP’s Platform team and support VFX Production by ensuring that ILP’s systems and infrastructure are always performing at its best and with a high level of security in mind. Your focus will be on Linux Systems administration and Infrastructure automation.

You will be working in a small and dedicated team and get the opportunity to work with a range of systems and tasks. It is of great importance to ILP that you have a strong passion for Linux and Automation, to enable them to continue to push the limits of what they can deliver. The tech teams are very collaborative and enthusiastic in building and improving their internal services to support our creative departments.

Experience or interest in the following areas are desirable:
  • Managing a fleet of Linux systems in ILP’s data centers
  • Large Scale storage platforms (Powerscale)
  • HPC - High Performance Computing
  • High Security environments
  • Infrastructure as Code On-prem and Cloud (Terraform)
  • Configuration management tools (Puppet and Ansible)
  • Lifecycle management (Foreman)
  • Container orchestration (Kubernetes)
Your qualifications
  • Education in technology or corresponding work experience
  • Broad experience from working with Linux systems, structure automation and large-scale storage platforms (Powerscale)
  • Experience from working in high security environments
  • Experience from managing and partake in projects relevant to this role
  • Experience from the industry or the gaming industry is a big merit
