Key account manager that can bring partner business and car insurance in to the future

We are looking for a candidate that is passionate about partner business, sales, insurance and the car industry. Not necessary in that order but these four are fundamentals in defining this role as Nordic Key Account Manager at If Märkesförsäkring.

Your role
As a Key Account Manager, you will work in the Nordic setup with the Nordic and Baltics as your market. The accounts in your portfolio, currently Ford Motor and Nissan, are among the biggest accounts If P&C have and together these two have 230 000+ insured customers (CDW and other warranties excluded).

Your partners and external stakeholder will either be OEMs (Car producers), importers or financial companies, but most often a combination of all three. You will be a spider in a network of several strong internal (product experts, CRM, Claims etc) and external stakeholders and you are expected to both facilitate and challenge these stakeholders to collectively push the insurance business forward. That is about securing the partner agreements, building strong relationships and in the end of the day; making sure If's branded insurances are offered, sold and managed in such a way that the business value for all stakeholders is maximized, including end consumers. In addition, being successful in this role will require that you are able to drive a pan-Nordic car insurance agenda with an overall perspective. This also include supporting the local KAM-teams with data, structure and directions so that Nordic synergies are secured.

Since your work market is the Nordics and Baltics you will travel one to two days a week. When you are not traveling you will be based out of Stockholm.

Your profile
To succeed in this role we see that you have a few years' experience from doing business via partners, and thrive in this environment. Moreover, you are used to lead business negotiations and are successful in understanding, driving and implementing the partners' agenda as well as challenging them to keep the set strategic direction. If you have experience from either the car industry, financial sector or insurance sector it is a big plus, as well as if you have an academic degree within finance, sales or marketing. Since you will be in contact with a lot of stakeholders it is a requirement that you have strong communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.

As a person we believe you are self-motivated and goal oriented. This is a key account manager role with big focus on being a consultant to the stakeholders to ensure value, which requires you to have a financial understanding as well as being both operational and strategic in business development.
