As Senior Process Engineer you will be a member of the Process & Technology team and report directly to the Process & Technology Manager. The Senior Process Engineer role is a critical role that works to support, optimize and improve the manufacturing processes on the entire paper mill. A key responsibility is to optimize and troubleshoot within the manufacturing processes.
- Utilize Lean and 6Sigma methods to analyse and follow-up production- and process data to design and support process improvements
- Drive ongoing tasks, assignments and projects in compliance with safety, environment, security and quality policies and standards
- Ensure excellent relations with authorities, suppliers and other relevant stakeholders
- Contribute with knowledge and experience to co-workers, colleagues and cooperate with other Crane units globally
The right candidate has a Graduate and/or Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry, Paper Science or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent working experience within one of these areas. You have a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience and 2-3 years of experience in process engineering related to papermaking would be highly desirable. Print experience is an advantage. For this position we require good communication skills in both Swedish and English-
Other desired qualifications:
- Technical experience in papermaking process
- Knowledge within wet /inorganic chemistry
- Skills in LEAN production is an advantage.
- Training in Statistical Process Control, Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt
