About the job
You will join our growing UX team of skilled and multi-faceted User Experience Designers collaborating across all departments involved in the product discovery and development process.
You will be responsible for developing holistic understanding of user behaviours, needs, challenges, and motivations through qualitative research methods. You will plan, conduct and analyse research initiatives to discover new opportunities, inspire stakeholders, and support agile teams to deliver what customers need. You will work closely with data scientists to combine quantitative and qualitative research methods to understand user behaviours, as well as with UX design leads and product managers to define experiment hypothesis, facilitate and assist research and user testing. You will regularly consolidate research findings into concise, accessible, and actionable data to be shared across organisation.
At SEB, UX is not an afterthought, but rather an integral part of everything we do. Research is well integrated in our way of working with established processes for recruiting customers and performing research to help organisation take informed decisions. You will be part of a bigger UX community consisting of over 50 highly competent UX designers and researchers. Together you will have access to some of the most competent co-workers in the business, as well as using your own experience to contribute to a more customer focused SEB, knowing our customers, their needs, and upcoming trends.

Who are you?
To succeed in this role, you need to have at least 3 years' experience within user research, preferably with a behavioural science education, strong abilities to plan, design and execute qualitative customer research using different methods. You have experience in driving conceptual and strategical research to support experiments in an agile way of working and are skilled in developing visualisation methods such as personas, impact maps, user journeys and value proposition canvases, that can be used in specific initiatives or on a companywide level.
You help everyone involved in the business development empathize with a holistic perspective of the customer that is cross channel, cross product, cross organization, and you are passionate about being an ambassador for our users, sharing user insights and discovering future areas of development. We are looking for a team player who thrives when working in a collaborative environment. Having experience in UX, Design and Service Design methods is a plus.
