About the role
We are now looking for an API Technical Lead to join our central API development team. Our function is an API center of excellence - managing SEBs API platform and developer portals, governing our externally accessible APIs and leading the organization towards the target architecture. We are also involved in some of SEBs main strategic initiatives in designing and building the API offering.
You will be a key player in helping other teams to grow their API competence, providing hands-on support, designing and building world-class APIs as well as parts of our enabling infrastructure. The API Technical Lead also secures developer wikis and guidelines to enable a great developer experience internally at SEB.
What we expect
To succeed in this role you are an experience software engineer, mastering modern web technologies. Excellent knowledge of API technology (RESTful APIs, JSON, HTTP, API mgmt. tools etc.) and API design (API First etc). You have great understanding of the developer experience, and the capability to translate that to world class API design in accordance with market best practices
You have a solution oriented attitude, strong problem solving skills and enjoy working in an ever changing environment. You have a genuine interest in new technology and exploring new things and learning comes natural to you. Furthermore, we think that you have excellent capabilities to engage people and build relationship - you have great communication skills.
