Job description:

Agfa HealthCare is looking for a talented Deployment Specialist to join our team in Sweden. As a Deployment Specialist you will install and configure IT platforms and upgrade legacy PACS systems of existing customers to the platforms and software versions of the latest generation of Agfa's Enterprise Imaging systems.

As a Deployment Specialist you are responsible for:
  • Supporting to ensure the successful installation and implementation of new installs and upgrades of Agfa systems, including operating systems, oracle databases and Agfa applications.
  • Assist the project manager with the detailed planning of the upgrades and installations
  • Ensure that projects are documented, and all processes are followed according to the Agfa standards
  • Provide adequate support in the post go-live phase
  • Technical deployment and support for server hardware and storage systems
  • Configure and deploy virtual servers
  • Configure High availability solitions
  • Engage other customer and global teams when needed
What you bring to the table
  • Graduate degree in Engineering, IT or Computer Science. Associate degree in IT industry
  • Experience of installing Windows / Linux Servers into an IT datacenter is a plus
  • Knowledge of Oracle Database is desired
  • Knowledge of VMware is an advantage
  • Working knowledge of Operating systems such as Windows and Linux are an advantage
  • Knowledge of Hospital and Radiology workflows is a plus
  • Knowledge of healthcare standards such as HL7 / DICOM is a benefit but not essential
  • Our ideal candidate has proven technical troubleshooting skills and an eye for detail.
Location: Home based + 15-20 % travel: working at customers (healthcare clients in UK, IE, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland)

Required profile:

What you bring to the table
