Product Manager Payments

We are currently looking for a Product Manager for our Payment as a Service (PaaS) Team at Telia Finance. We are looking for someone with deep understanding of the payments area, someone who has experience working as a Product Owner or Product Manager and who has an interest to work closely with an advanced payment team to further develop and future proof our internal payment solution for the Nordic and Baltic countries.

Your next opportunity

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving forward the strategy and vision of our Payment as a Service platform together with rest of the PaaS Team. You will be responsible for a complex payment solution that is specialized in handling different payment methods and payment service providers. This responsibility includes setting the direction of the product and implement future development to manage its lifecycle as well as having the Product Owner responsibilities of the development team.

We are working in a DevOps environment, working with test automation and feature toggling. To succeed in this role, we believe that you are a driven, proactive team player with a focus on the consumers. You are motivated by a dynamic environment working with a live product in the payments area, specifically with Payment Service Providers.

Some of the tasks in this role

• Own the product roadmap

• Facilitating communication between teams and stakeholder to produce value

• Build the backlog and prioritize accordingly to the roadmap

• Ensure the development is completed, tested and deadlines are met

• Ensure compliance are met throughout the product lifecycle

• Ensure potential risks are analysed and communicated properly

• Secure delivery together with the DevOps team and document the work

• Secure that technical documentation is up to date

• Communicate roadmap and vision to stakeholders.

We believe you have

• At least 3 years' experience working in the payments area, either as a PO, PM, Business Analyst or similar roles

• A deep understanding of the payments area, with card transactions, PSPs and gateways

• Experience of working close with a development team and IT

• Experience of roadmap creation and visualization

• Experience of working in an agile environment

• Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish.
