Senior Network Engineer Mobile Voice Core

I am Tomas Pöhnert, the leader of Operations SE/DK within Voice Core Networks. Right now, we are looking for a Senior Network Engineer with team lead skills/Scrum Master ambitions. As this role is expected to handle sensitive data and systems, you need to have a citizenship in either Sweden.

Our team is distributed in several locations in Sweden and are highly involved in cross-border agile production in six Nordic countries. We are at the forefront of mobile technologies including IMS, 5G voice, cloud, and automation, and we are operating/maintaining Mobile Voice Core systems for both consumer and business voice services.

In this role you will be collaborating closely with operations, production managers and developers in the same team and across the Voice Core domain across Telia. You will also interact with our many suppliers, such as Ericsson, Nokia. We would like to that you either already have the skill set, or ambition, to be able to work as a Scrum Master leading a Safe Agile Team.

The role includes, but is not limited to:

• Operation and Maintenance, troubleshooting of Voice Core systems on Telco Cloud.
• Troubleshooting, tracing, and analyzing of faults in Voice Services.
• Take part in Task force with other domains and suppliers resolving incidents.
• Configuration and parameter design and implementation.
• 24/7 On Call Duty and planned/unplanned overtime.
• Test & Verification of SW, HW and Voice Core system functionality.
• Collaboration with multiple suppliers in troubleshooting, analyzing faults.
• Taking part in Development implementation and Operational readiness
• Acting as Scrum Master in an agile team.

Your Experience:

• Mobile Voice Core competence and knowledge of the different mobile technologies, architecture, functions, interfaces, and protocols in the Telecom sector
• Troubleshooting experience in Voice Core / cloud technologies software and hardware
• Experience in virtual Voice Core systems from suppliers as Nokia and Ericsson.
• Solid understanding of cloud technologies and processes, (software defined storage, networking, and switch infrastructure)
• Experience in agile development methods and practices, i.e. Scrum, SAFe, Agile, Jira
• Software development skill to automate operation (LCM, Incident and Change Management)
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
