My name is Mikko Hellsten, and I am leading Home Connectivity Development team within Telia. We provide best-in-class, secure and easy to use connectivity solutions for our customers that work seamlessly with Telia services. We are a true cross-border team with innovative and energetic mindsets that share passion for making connectivity easy for our customers. We are now looking for Lead Software Developer to welcome to our team.

Home connectivity is an integral part of the broadband customer experience. Increasing amount of internet services are consumed and number of connected devices in homes is rapidly increasing. Providing excellent user experience is critical to our success. Our mission is to provide best customer experience for connectivity in the home. In the role of Lead Software Developer, you will lead our software development and act as mentor towards our other developers. You will work closely with Product owner and other key stakeholders to deliver on our global roadmap. Our development concentrates around consumer residential gateways and embedded software providing connectivity and value-added services such as WIFI-as-a-service and Security-as-a-service. We are also developing and operating our backend solutions for remote management and customer support. You will be working end-to-end with all software within our common Home Connectivity platform.

You are a strong team player and love to succeed together with the team. You are passionate about technology and continuously developing and improving our products and customer experience. To become successful, you need to be solution-oriented, self-driven and possess good problem-solving skills.

Your personality:

• High level of self-leadership
• Structured, organized and have great attention to detail.
• You take ownership and able to lead work of others
• Good communication skills (English as main language)

Your experience:

• Experience in cloud (AWS preferred)
• Experience in C/C++
• Experience in CI/CD
• Knowledge in IP networks
• Experience in Linux
• Experience from working in cross-border teams
