Your role:
In your role as a Junior BI Specialist, you will be responsible for co-designing and developing Qlik Sense visualization including Qlik scripts and data modeling. Together with the data engineering team, you will be involved in defining various requirements for their implementation. In the role, you will also translate business requirements into technical copies. You will have ongoing dialogue with hydro business stakeholders and keep the hydro master data up to date. You will get a basic understanding of how hydropower operations and their data work.
As a part of this role, in the beginning of your employment you will be trained through a specific, paid 15-day training by Ari Hovi that will increase your understanding and skills in the data field. The training consists of for example SQL, Azure, AWS, Data Modelling.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
We are looking for you who has a university education in Business or IT. We expect you to have gained 1-2 years of experience in a similar role and minimum of 6 months of experience in using Power BI and it´s a benefit if you have knowledge of Qlik Sense too. You have a basic understanding of Data Pipeline and utilizing data in business. You have a general IT perspective and have technical competence in a cloud environment. It is advantageous if you have worked in a similar industry before or have a strong interest in energy. As a person, we would like you to be communicative, curious, patient and enjoy developing and learning new things. You will have the opportunity to work in an environment where the days look different every day, so it is important that you are confident and enjoy varied work.
The company language is English and therefore we expect you to have fluent English skills. Knowing Swedish is beneficial.
