Senior Manager CapEx SE/FI - Sweden

We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Manager to join us in owning the SE/FI CapEx project portfolio and to lead our Swedish based CapEx project management team. In this role you can be based near our Arla offices or near any of our production sites in Sweden. This role will require up to 50% to various Arla sites in Sweden/Finland, depending on location. Ideal locations could be Stockholm, Linköping, Jönköping or Västra Götaland.
How you will make an impact
As Senior Manager CapEx SE/FI, you will have overall responsibility for the planning and execution of all strategic CapEx projects >2m EUR as well as supporting other relevant CapEx projects as required across the manufacturing sites within the SE/FI Region. You will report to the Director of CapEx Projects and be a part of the Supply Chain Engineering & Technology organisation. Your key responsibilities will be to:
Your background could come from two different tracks. Either you have a degree in Engineering (or related) field with minimum 5 years of relevant work experience. Or, you might not be degree educated but have 15+ years of experience in engineering roles where you have delivered complex multi-million technical projects. Preferably this comes from a dairy, food or FMCG environment.
As a Senior Manager and leader of your team, you bring clear capabilities of managing all aspects of complex and challenging projects, with the ability to calmly deal with the unexpected. You bring strong leadership skills and can expertly work with others, such as Procurement, Finance, local site teams, Arla leaders and suppliers. You can build networks and drive decision making across a global matrix organisation. Additionally, we see that your structured approach to projects allows you to balance priorities and set direction across multiple large, high profile projects. - Own the strategic CapEx project portfolio for your region
- Support Supply Chain Vice Presidents and Business Partners in assessing business cases
- Ensure successful development, alignment and execution of CapEx project plans covering scope, schedule, cost, resources
- Lead and develop the SE/FI team of Project Managers
- Work with Procurement to develop, align and execute project sourcing strategies
- Be the "go to" person within CapEx for the production sites and wider organization, providing guidance and trainings to sites on project management and CapEx processes
- Provide communication about projects and portfolio to upper Supply Chain management

- Mastery in CapEx Project Management and have experienced in running a portfolio (Budget, Cash Flow, Schedule, Resource and Scope Management / Delegation)
- People manager experience, having direct reports not only contractors
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain finance and on how to build a strong business cases
- Ability to deal with and manage change within the organization to improve ways of working and performance
- Strong stakeholder management skills and leadership abilities, enabling you to build networks and drive decision making throughout the organization
- Strong English and Swedish communication (verbal and written) and diplomacy skills
