We are looking for a highly driven leader with strong business acumen to build up an entirely new product specialist sales operation from scratch.
My name is Micaela Magnertoft Lagerbäck and I am head of Product Unit Business Messaging - one of the strongest growing business areas in Telia right now. The focus will be to grow the GW Messaging Business and CPaaS business (Communication Platform as a Service) towards Telia's B2B customers with the help from in-house resources and/or partners and channels.
Your next challenge?
The new Specialist Sales force's mission will be to provide product, pricing, and solution design know-how. It will support both sales representatives at Telia's Business Units and our partners. The new team will focus on the presales phase, but also provide system integration consulting in the delivery phase. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, dynamic, inspiring, including, business and customer focused leader for this international team to be.
As the first member and head of the team you will be responsible for identifying the different stakeholders needs for presales support. You will design and set the frames for the initial way of working while starting to recruit the right people for the job. You will organize and structure the work with them, set clear goals, routines, and lead the way to successful, inspired, engaged and happy customers, business partners, and employees.
Along the way you thoroughly measure and follow your team's and business partners' performance, ensuring that everyone is on track to reach the goals for Business Messaging. You rest assured that needs and prerequisites constantly change and keep your team ready to adapt and change to stay successful.

You have worked at least five years in leading positions in the IT or Telecom industry with successful, international partner/channel management, sales and presales, and business or marketing development. You have experience from building new business functions from scratch, either as an entrepreneur or employed at a company. It is a merit but not mandatory with experience from business messaging, CPaaS or CCaaS areas.
You have a great interest and understanding of technology and data communication from a business perspective. You have studied business economics, marketing, or Information Technology with elements of business or marketing at a university level. You have great analytical sense for both the strategical and tactical matters. You see the problems or obstacles as possibilities to learn new ways forward and grow.
Since you will have daily, international contacts around Telia´s footprint you must be fluent in speakin, reading, and writing in English. At Telia we put great value in our environment and a sustainable way of working targeting zero emission. We primarily interact digitally, but some work, business or customer meetings are best performed in person, face to face. Therefore, you must be able to travel internationally.
