At Telenor we are accelerating our digital transformation. In the Fixed and Mobile Convergence Tribe, we are building a new, modern and fast-paced software development organization with the mission to transform our core and build a world class business support system to support a smooth customer journey. Within our tribe we are more than 140 Developers, Solution Architects, Testers and Agile Team Leads, dedicated to building and maintaining our new digital back-end.
The newly formed Performance Squad consists of five developers supporting the whole of Telenor IT with state-of-the-art tooling to build, deploy, monitor and maintain the software we develop.The Role
Your main responsibility is to act as the Product Owner for the squad and prioritize and plan the day-to-day activities in the Performance Squad. You are also responsible to develop and implement our CI/CD strategy across all squads.
The role will have a strong operational focus where it is your responsibility to ensure that all squads have the tools and means to visualize logging, monitoring and tracing of our applications. You are also able to draw your own conclusions of the operational performance and propose improvements for the development squads.Who are we looking for?
We believe you have a strong technical background and have multiple years of development experience. You are passionate about automatization and have the know how to implement best practices within our delivery pipeline and application monitoring. You enjoy working in a team and you are the servant leader of the squad and we believe you have prior experience in a team lead role.
We believe you have good communication skills and a lean agile mindset.
From a technical perspective we believe you have prior hands on experience with more than one of the tools:
- Docker in Kubernetes
- ELK - stack
- Prometheus / Grafana
- Service Mesh
