Senior Backend Developer to Sales IT

Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania's success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.

The group "Presales IT - Attributes & Etel" within Sales IT is responsible for developing services and IT deliveries to Sales & Marketing at Scania. The work we are performing covers the complete system development process, from concept development and analysis to development, implementation and production releases.

We are now expanding our capacity to meet future requirements and are looking for a new Senior Backend Developer. You have a genuine interest in software development and you will be working with one of the most central applications in our sales eco-system and will meet a lot of stakeholders within the Scania organisation.

Your background:

• You have solid experience as a senior backend developer
• You have experience and appreciate agile working methods
• Communication skills in Swedish or English

Together with the other members in your agile development team you are responsible for all artifacts the team develops. You will be involved in architectural matters as well as development, testing and release handling issues.
