Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Scania Global logistics is right now undergoing an intence development period with fast technology development, new digital tools, cross-brand flows, component logistics and replacing existing IT platform from logistics. As a manager within Logistics Strategy and project you will be a vital part of the journey ahead of us

Your task
As the Manager for Future Logistics Development you will lead a group of colleagues working with development of Scania global logistics processes, methods and tools within Scania and between brands.

Your team is developing and deploying technology, methods and digital tools for our logistics processes within M/D/O organizations. You will do that in close cooperation with the AFR areas and organisations concerned.

You will have developers in your team leading projects within Logistics area as well as project managers reporting to Umbrella project managers outside your team. Your role will be to support them in their assignment as well as develop their competence. Areas that your team is active within today are physical logistics processes, automatization, digitalisation, cross-brand cooperation and implementing the way of working for global and central logistics within the PD process.

To succeed in your mission you need to create a good network all over Scania and within our cooperation partners MAN. As this is a new group effort will also be spend on building-up way of working and networks within Scania.

Your profile
We are looking for a candidate with great interest and experience within Logistics and interest in new technology and digital tools. As a person, you have leadership skills with excellent motivation and communication skills. You have experience as a leader and like a dynamic environment.

You are goal and customer oriented and have a high accountability. You use a holistic view on things and have the ability to prioritize amongst many activities and subjects. Also additional languages than Swedish and English is meriting.
