Embedded Systems Test Manager

Have you ever asked yourself the question how we will get safe autonomous vehicles and transports in the future? If you have, then this tester position is the most exciting role for you!

The awesome team you will join

If I was financially independent, I would still work at Scania and within steering controls since it is very fulfilling feeling to develop new functions together with my colleagues for our customer and as soon as the function is done be able to go out in the truck test the function and get the expected response.” - Team member

We are a team of 8 in different roles and our mission is to develop actuators for steering to help the customers. In the future this will make it possible for a robot to steer our vehicles. Now we are developing the first generation of steering actuator for autonomy and are already starting to look at the second generation.

The cool tasks you get to do

Autonomy is new area for us. For this we need a person with strong test competence to help leading us in the right direction of how to test these new actuators. You will get free hands in exploring what test strategy, structure, framework and processes we should go for by using both your and Scania´s experience. Since we have just invested in a HIL-rig to make it possible to run automatic tests, you will help us get it up and running, where experience of programming in Python or C can come in handy.

The team needs this

A person that enjoys an inventive work environment with a high degree of freedom. You are a natural team player who shares your findings and mistakes with colleagues since you are working together towards a common goal. You are positive to taking on new assignments and feel challenged to resolve technical problems whenever they arise.
