The Scania Project Office is about to take off and accelerate the digital journey. We aim to become data driven in our decision making, working in a modern way by using relevant tools to secure increased efficiency and create a great experience for our users.

We are searching for a Digital Officer (DO) to challenge, enable and drive digitalisation as well as promoting cross functional collaboration to secure our future success. The digital officer shall contribute in the strategic and operational approach to digitalisation.

Your tasks:

As a Digital Officer at Scania Project Office you will have the responsibility to
  • Continuously develop and refine our digital vision and ambition and keep the portfolio of digital initiatives updated, relevant and anchored.
  • Initiate and support digital initiatives, be prepared to get hands on in experimentation and development of new digital solutions in close cooperation with our employees
  • Educate in the field of digitalization and promoting business automation and inspiring all of the Project Office in using it.
In short, we believe a good candidate for this role is used to and comfortable in talking to people in different settings, ranging from specialists in their field to higher management. You have the ability to build and develop relationships to drive change. You have an entrepreneurial drive and innovative approach and excel in taking initiatives and making things happen. You follow the digital trends in society with an understanding of the implications on our business and our ways of working. Having programming experience is not essential, but an advantage. Bonus traits are having experience in digitalization and if you have been working with change management or business development, or have broad understanding of Scania.

You will belong to the team XPU, unique projects and assignments. In this team we support each other, exchange knowledge and we have open and honest discussions where everybody shares their thoughts, ideas and opinions. Your manager will support you and together with you set a development plan that will continuously be updated. Together we will make sure that you advance in your professional career according to our agreed plan.
