Data Warehouse Administrator and Developer

If you are an experienced Data Warehouse Admin that wants to work closely together with solution architects and developers to maintain and develop our data warehouse platform, you should keep reading!

What you will do

You will be an important member in our collaboration with both business and technology stakeholders as well as development teams to ensure the development and usage of data warehouse. You will optimize the platform and do administration with activities such as regular patching. Integrating data warehouse with Big Data platform and implementing ETL processes is also important. At last but certainly not lease, you will establish and support data quality routines as well as establishing and maintaining data warehouse development standards together with the team.

You easily understand business needs and strategies and balance the short term need versus reaching long term goals.

What you know
  • Understanding of data warehouse design and concepts
  • Knowledge and experience in building DW using ODI and Oracle database.
  • Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development and performance tuning skills.
  • At least 3 years professional experience as a Data Warehouse Developer and admin.
It would be great if you also are familiar with different types of data warehousing modelling principles, have experience in infrastructure management and database administration and if you have worked with open source and knowledge of the Hadoop eco system.
