Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Sales and Marketing has the responsibility for our customer offer and business strategy for Trucks, Bus, Power Solutions, Parts and Services, as well as sales support. Global support and IT applications are provided to the Scania owned as well as to the independent franchise network creating the right conditions for an efficient retail and wholesale operation.

Do you want to join an experienced team that are developing Scanias new methods, tools and processes to support our retail network & business units to be more efficient and profitable in their contracted services business.

We are now in an intensive and exciting period as part of the digital transformation journey. By digitalizing our products and processes we are challenging how we faster can improve, develop & implement our contracted products. This in order to further improve the contracted business growth, and increase administration efficiency, but also to be able to support new contract business models.

Workshop and Contracts department is now looking for a new team member with focus on developing our contracted services in close cooperation with distributors, our retail network and within our internal departments through e.g. Product Managers, Product Owners and other stakeholders. The work will be carried out through cross-functional groups with agile thinking as a base. Acting as a Contracted Development Manager you will also be responsible for the processes connected to these services.

Your profile

We are looking for a person with high experience of contracted services business and from working in our retail/B.U. network. In this position you need to have the ability to develop and challenge our methods, tools and processes. Experience of IT-development is also highly regarded since there is a lot of collaboration with the IT-development teams belonging to the same cross-functional group. The implementations are done together with our service network and therefore you need to have good personal skills and the ability to implement both processes and systems. Sometimes you will also act as a trainer towards our service network.

In order to feel comfortable within this role you need to be able to take responsibility, work at the forefront of process development and enjoy the challenge of working with a broad network of people. You have the contracted services business experience, including follow up of the business, to understand how customer value is created and how that can be supported by digitalization.

We believe that you have a wide experience of Scania products, services and processes. Services market experience is desirable. The fact that you are pedagogical, communicative, structured and independent is a given for us. The external contacts in our service network require that you are fluent in written and spoken English. Other languages are considered a merit.

Your task
  • Develop contract processes and systems within different projects (e.g. Digital Dealer)
  • Represent the Contracted Services in cross functional projects
  • Improve the processes- and business models related to Contracted Business
  • Analyze and follow up of the contracted services business
  • Implement processes and systems in our service network
  • Act as trainer towards the network and support their daily operations
  • Cooperate with a cross-functional agile working team and other internal stakeholders
  • Work in close cooperation with distributors, our retail network and customers
You don't have to move to Sweden for this position, it is ok to work remote but you will have to fly to sweden 6-8 times per year for meetings in person.

The team

Within Sales & Marketing we are a team of 11 employees consisting of Contract Development Managers, Service Development Managers, Project Managers and Business Analyst committed to enhance the development of the Services- & Contracted business in our network. As a Contract Development Manager, you will be able work with an experienced team supporting the global services organisation to achieve the best possible performance by developing contracted products and effective methods. Besides that you will also be in a group that will highly support you and where you have all the possibilities to broaden your knowledge within the Services & Contract Business.
