We are looking for the following people to join our team for the construction of a large-scale EV battery factory in Skelleftea, Sweden:
Long term roles are on offer, with excellent packages covering salary, accommodation, local transport and flights. The opportunity is open to EU nationals only.
Location: Skelleftea, Sweden
Duration: 12 – 24 months initially
Duties & Responsibilities:
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Mechanical Construction Engineers / Supervisors
- Piping Construction Engineers / Supervisors (Stainless Steel)
- Electrical Construction Engineers / Supervisors
- Cleanroom Construction Engineers / Supervisors
- Construction Safety Officers / Supervisors

Duration: 12 – 24 months initially
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervision / management of construction activities, ensuring that all works are carried out in full compliance with all site and statutory safety requirements.
- Supervising the construction site to ensure safe working practices are adhered to and that safety incidences are reported and dealt with accordingly.
- Ensure the required materials and equipment are available to the contractor
- Assist the contractor in order to ensure they are unhindered in their installation activities
- Monitor contractor performance and make recommendations for improvement
- Coordinate between the installation contractors / design teams to resolve field issues
- Perform site inspections of installed equipment / materials to ensure quality requirements are being met. Provide feedback to the contractor in a constructive way.
- Coordinate the daily allocation of labour to achieve schedule milestones
- Participate in daily coordination and toolbox meetings
- Ensure that all construction activities across all disciplines (mechanical, piping, architectural, electrical, instrumentation) are properly coordinated to minimise delays
- Work with contractors and vendors to ensure that schedule milestones are achieved
- Defect recording and tracking
- Communicate daily with the contracts manager on site operations and workfront forecasts
- Report to Management on progress, potential schedule delays or cost increases
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 10+ years' experience in similar roles on large scale industrial projects
- Bachelor's degree in relevant Engineering discipline, or a related field.
- Proven experience in similar roles, preferably in large-scale 'clean' construction projects (pharmaceutical / data centre / semiconductor / EV battery)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Ability to motivate employees and sub-contractors to complete all works to the highest standards
- Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and maintain client/contractor relations
