HR Specialist

We are now looking for an HR Specialist to join our team in Sweden to provide support in employment lifecycle issues and the implementation of HR policies, programs and processes, as well as different administrative duties. The team supports employees throughout Sweden and is also the primary support for our employees in Norway. The location will be in Skellefteå, and the position will report to Director, Human Resources, Market Area Europe & North Africa.

As HR Specialist, you will:
  • Provide general HR support to managers and employees in close collaboration with HR Manager
  • Take care of Sweden / Norway employment life cycle issues
  • Have responsibility for administrative tasks with regards to employees: Preparation, processing and follow up of documents related to employment contracts, payroll, personnel transfers, change of conditions
  • Have responsibility for global mobility -related tasks with regards to Sweden and Norway
  • Maintain current HR systems and be responsible for data accuracy
  • Assist in Market Area level HR tasks when needed
  • Prepare payroll relevant information and ensure that communication to payroll is timely and accurate
  • Generate and prepare relevant monthly reporting
  • Collaborate in international HR projects
  • Ensure that employee processes are in line with local regulations and Outotec policies
  • Support and train employees in HR policies, processes, tools and forms
To succeed, you will need:
  • Relevant educational background with focus on Human Resources or related field
  • A few years of relevant work experience with Human Resources or in administration dealing with various aspects of HR
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • To be self-motivated, with a strong sense of organization and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and strong organizational and record keeping skills
  • Ability to perform duties with a high level of confidentiality
  • To be a team player and to have good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office), especially Excel skills required and ideally previous experience with SAP
  • Fluency in both Swedish and English
