What is the job?
As Safety Service Manager you are responsible for the profit and loss for the Service function in our business area Safety within Sweden, Denmark and Finland. You will support our customers with our state of the art technology in Gas Detection, Heavy Breathing Equipment and Impairment. Our customers are active cross all Industrial Segments, in Fire & Rescue Services and Law Enforcement. Your primary tasks are to develop and implement the business according to the overall Nordic Sales & Service strategy. It is within your responsibility to make sure that Dräger's installed base is supported and pro-actively managed according to customer and legal demands and to do this you have the help of your team of 25 skilled technicians in workshops and on the field, including a team leader in each country. You will be a part of the Service Management Team consisting of managers for the other Service functions and report to Nordic Service Manager.
What will you do?
We believe that our products and systems should be taken care of professionals because many times they save lives. It is therefore essential for us to earn the trust of our customers. In your daily work you will provide customer value by serving as the primary liaison between sales, supply chain/logistics, and staff to create effective delivery of technical service to our customers. You are expected to keep updated on new markets and developments in products, equipment and services and translate these observations in actions together with Nordic Service and Sales and Marketing teams. Since growing Service business are essential for our future position at our customers, one of your contributions will be to maintain contacts with major accounts and opinion leaders of service in coordination with our sales account managers to ensure Drägers maximum sales potential is realized. We think that this is one of the contributing things to make sure that the customer satisfaction is continuously developing positively.
As Service Manager you provide direction to your organization by establishing and controlling annual budgets, individual/team targets and relevant forecasts. We believe that a good base for delivering results is managing your team by setting clear tasks and goals and also measure, correct and evaluate results. You also monitor procedures and processes and implement appropriate measures to ensure the progress and quality of the work and continuous improvements. You build trust by transferring knowledge to employees with respect to service, pricing policy, financial, commercial and organizational aspects and enable others by securing that employees are properly supported, trained and have access to needed safe and up-to date service tools.
Who are you?
To succeed in this role we think that you have qualification to degree level, preferably technical and several years' work experience in Service Management. You also have experience of financial P&L management. It is crucial that you have thorough knowledge and experience of service, a good understanding of service delivery and are comfortable in use and learning of service related IT tools. Since this role is leading a big team your leadership skills are essential and you have profound experience in people management. This you demonstrate by good communication and interpersonal skills, both in your local language as well as advanced English. You can also with your technical understanding engage with technical staff and suppliers and is therefore equipped to represent company's service and its users' needs at all levels within and outside our organization.
