The services and solutions offered to its customers include physical and digital document management solutions where the platform in Östersund is responsible for supporting the digital development of our operations in Western Europe. Iron Mountain sells and performs services to both national and international customers worldwide. At the plant in Östersund, there are about 60 employees and operations cover all parts of the chain from development, project management and production.

Position purpose:
In the position as Operations Manager your main task will be to drive & grow a sustainable business focussing on operational excellence, being part of the Management Team:
  • Ensure stable and efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the strategy for his/her product line
  • Make sure business meets targets and continued growth
  • Plan, supervise and control all operations and employee activities
  • Drive continuous improvement and QHSE initiatives
  • Streamline entire chain of service deliver
  • Maximise Customer experience
Major/Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining adherence to Iron Mountain standard operating procedures
  • Managing and improving upon Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
  • Managing quality execution and implementation of projects, services and initiatives
  • Conducting performance evaluations and reviews for direct reports
  • Ensuring continuous development and performance improvement of team members
  • Ensuring career and development opportunities for core talent
  • Responsibility for facilities management including building maintenance, capacity planning and management and facility safety compliance
  • Maximising financial performance through cost management and productivity control measures of the department
  • Alignment with Romanian IM entity and central IT department
  • Improve customer experience
  • Manage Customer services department
  • Budgeting and financial control regarding Operations department
  • Assist sales on proposal definition for operational part (utilization, activities, cost)
Required Experience:
  • Profit & Loss management
  • Project management;
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Proven success leading teams in a multi-disciplinary and/or multinational environment
Desirable Experience:
  • B2B sector
  • Commercial acumen
  • Six Sigma and Lean business process improvement methods
  • Digital business process solutions
Other requirements:

Swedish citizenship is a requirement for the service
Must be fluent in Swedish and English
