Management of international programs and large contracts

The company is part of an international group and the Swedish entity consists of a huge industrial site including several production units with more than 300 employees.
The company is recognized both local and global for being ambitious, innovative and in front with development and new technical solutions.
The program manager role is a mix of project- and contract management and responsible for execution of major international contracts and orders – so called programs.
To be a successful, the program manager must be able to handle execution of contracts in accordance with customer requirements focusing on quality, deadlines and financial objectives.

Main areas of responsibility
The responsibilities of the program manager can be described in headlines as follows:
  • Participate in offer building and negotiations
  • Manage the programs
  • Coordinate within the organization
  • Manage risks and opportunities in the programs
  • Ensure customer support enabling excellent program deployment
  • Global activity reporting incl. customrer satisfaction
  • Relationship building with international program management team
The new program manager will be part of a team of approx.10 international program managers. The company is placed in
Örebro län.

Strong track record in project management – with minimum 5 years of project management experience. Transversal knowledge with contract- and program management, preferable with a technical knowledge/background.
Education, e.g master degree in economics or quality.
Knowledge of Swedish Export Control Regulations is an advantage. Swedish citizenship is required.

Personal characteristics
As a person the program manager is characterized by being a trustworthy and diplomatic person with analytical skills, able to set and handle priorities and committed to deliver.
