The Position:
As a Regional Ecosystem Builder, you would proactively try to find solutions for new therapies within the Swedish obesity care and future therapy areas in order for more people to achieve health care in line with the guidelines in a newly created innovative role within the Regional department of Market Access and Public Affairs (MAPA). It means providing support in shaping of the ecosystem needed to allow correct usage of the treatments.
Our ambition is to make Novo Nordisk products available to patients who need them, which is why it’s key to maintain a close dialogue with civil servants and policymakers.
Your key responsibilities would include:
* Finding pathway solutions for treatment of obesity (and in the future, other therapy areas) together with our colleagues from department of Regional Market Access and Public Affairs
* Coordinating and cooperating with cross-functional teams (MAPA/Medical/Marketing/Sales) to create value propositions with and for customers
* Seeking out opportunities for synergy and collaboration to achieve our goals through active and transparent planning
* Sharing best practices of regions initiatives within obesity and new therapy areas between customers.
* Being an expert on the healthcare reforms, the evolving landscape, and the organisation of regions
* Aligning budgets resources to customer opportunities and business potential to optimize return on investment and providing recommendations and input for planning and creation of important tools.
For this role you can be located anywhere in Sweden.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a proactive and innovative person who aims at inspiring others and challenging the status quo. As working cross-functionally with many stakeholders is a crucial part of the role, we need a highly collaborative professional with great communication skills and commercial acumen. Moreover, we expect our candidate to:
* Hold a university degree
* Have a solid experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry within sales, marketing, or market access/public affairs
* Have a solid understanding of the Swedish healthcare system
* Be a fluent speaker of Swedish and English
Documented experience within Market Access and Public Affairs would be highly desirable and so would knowledge of cardiometabolic disease areas be.
About the Department:
The role sits in the Regional Department of Market Access and Public Affairs (MAPA) at Novo Nordisk Sweden. In this role you’d be reporting directly to Head of Regional Market Access and Public Affairs and collaborating closely with and outside of the team.
