Project Manager Military Systems (Nesbru)
Boresight and Alignment Solutions is a provider of an electro optical boresighting solution used on a variety of different military platforms. Delivering state of the art solutions to large corporations such as BAE Systems (F-16), Kongsberg Defense and Aerospace (remote weapon stations), and Korea Aerospace Industries (Fighter aircraft and helicopters). As our portfolio is expanding, we are now looking for an Project Manager Military Systems who have the ability to run several projects in parallel while having the responsibility of the operations and development of the production and project department of Boresight and Alignment Solutions.
The right candidate have a solid technical background and have experience with following up clients and suppliers, and is today working within oil & gas, constructions, infrastructure or military industry.

The right candidate have a solid technical background and have experience with following up clients and suppliers, and is today working within oil & gas, constructions, infrastructure or military industry.
Work assignments:
- Project execution of both standard and development projects.
- Product development
- Sub-supplier management contracting
- Support the sales and contracting processes, concept studies and cost calculation processes.
- Support in other customer related activities, such project related requirements reviews, on-site field acceptance testing and repairs.
- Travel for technical meetings, delivery/ training and necessary support activities
Required qualifications:
- BSc or MSc equivalent engineering degree
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) is preferred
- Proven well-structured, reliable, able to take pro-active ownership of tasks and processes.
- Documented verbal and writing skills in technical English.
- Citizen of a NATO or EU country since birth - and eligible for a security clearance

Boresight and Alignment Solutions is part of the Metronor Group, and is headquartered at Nesbru in Asker, 20 km southwest of Oslo. The deliverable technology of Boresight and Alignment Solutions is based on in-house invention and development shared by the Metronor Group.
Since 2006, Boresight and Alignment Solutions have delivered highly accurate boresight and alignment systems to large manufacturers such as: Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, Korea Aerospace Industries and Kongsberg Defense and Aerospace.
As the battlefield becomes ever more sophisticated and more dependent on high-tech units and sensors, the need for accurate alignment increases. The Harmolign boresight system is a unique measurement system that can be adapted to provide quick and accurate alignment of all sensors and weapons of a vehicle or aircraft. At the core, the system's technology is based on electro-optics and photogrammetry.
Across the Metronor Group, the core photogrammetric technology has been developed into a variety of product versions, addressing the highest degree of accuracy requirements.
Research and development will be done in close cooperation with the Metronor Group to ensure synergies across the Group's portfolio as the technology evolves.
