About the Position

Due to increased orders for ship agency services, we are looking to fill at least 2 100% positions as Shipping Agent or Shipping Agent/Logistics Coordinator. Depending on your location and local competency and our need, the jobs may be positioned in Aarhus, Copenhagen or Esbjerg.

Daily Tasks for Shipping Agent
  • Documentation and clearance of ships upon arrival and departure
  • Communication with all involved parties during ships' port calls
  • Coordinating of services
  • Provide input to continual improvement to processes and procedures
  • Miscellaneous administrative tasks such as invoicing for services provided
Daily Tasks for Logistics Coordinator
  • Coordinating air/sea/land freight
  • Processing imports/exports
Other Job details
  • Most tasks can be completed during regular work hours; however, we provide 24/7/365 service and there will be periods of higher work load as well as work during irregular times - especially during the busy summer season
  • Due to the 24/7/365 service, you will participate in a rotating duty scheme in which you, when on duty, will have primary responsibility to follow operational email and phones during after work hours and weekend
  • We provide service to vessels during port calls at ports throughout Denmark. The position may include a significant amount of driving to ports in your region
  • This position provides a unique development opportunity to apply your competency and participate in further developing the high quality service we provide. Increased responsibilities will be assigned with demonstrated competency
Desired Qualifications
  • Min 2 years' relevant agency experience in Denmark
  • For agency, related knowledge - Tankers, Cruise, Customers, etc.
  • For logistics, related knowledge - customs regulations, forwarding, imports/exports
  • Education in shipping, maritime, logistics or other relevant
  • Excellent written and verbal Danish and English skills
  • Driver's license
