Job description

You are offered a challenging and developing position focused on customer growth through utilizing the ZEISS brand and selling lenses and instruments to opticians. You will have an important role in the development and expansion of the operations in the Norway.

You are responsible for managing the entire sales process through customer visits from first contact to business termination and customer care.

Your responsibilities include:
  • District and budget responsibility
  • Evaluate and qualify new customers
  • Develop existing customers
  • Plan, book and conduct customer visits to new and existing customers
  • Educate customers in lenses and instruments
  • Technical support regarding optical instruments
  • Attending fairs and local events
You will be part of a team of three people who work with sales in the Norwegian market. You report to the Commercial Manager for Norway.

The position requires minimum 50% overnight stays.


You currently work with B2B sales in the optical market or work as an optician/optical assistant and now want to change to field sales. We believe that you have at least 5 years of work experience. Previous experience from the optical market is very meritorious.

It is an advantage if you have a degree from university or college.

Speaking and writing Norwegian and English is a prerequisite for the position. You master the Office package.

You are expected to independently plan and structure your work. You communicate easily, and you have a strong ability of creating and maintaining contacts. The position requires that you have a general technical interest.

Driving license is a requirement for the position.
