PMO manager, Toyota Material Handling Europe Information System

Toyota is growing their business in solution selling and services as a complementary approach to a strong competitive product line in combination with automated solutions for trucks. As the PMO Executive you´ll strengthen their capabilities in this transformational phase related to delivery, processes and methods. You´ll head a team of mainly internal project managers and your tasks will be to facilitate a greater degree of governance structure related to XLPM and their international project catalogue.


In your role as PMO Executive you´ll be in charge of a team consisting of six project managers where your responsibilities would include general management tasks and specifically coaching, along with resource allocations related to projects on an international scale.

You´ll lead the way regarding portfolio management and subsequent activities. Your point of departure as far as methods are concerned will be XLPM; a continuous work from an established routine. The corporate functions emanates from Toyota´s headquarter in Mjölby. You´ll aid in defining the requirements deriving from dialogue with various sponsors, i.e. executives within the organization. You´ll keep the strategic onset related to the future delivery within the project catalogue.


You have significant experience from project management incl. requirements gathering in a business setting. You´ll understand project methods such as PROPS or XLPM. Your IT knowledge is broad and would thus correlate to ERP implementations, system upgrades or roll-outs, and the likes. You have executive experience, at best a few years, and you have a belief in the discipline as a whole. A merit would be required experience within an industrial, manufacturing, or retail context. You can easily communicate and write in English since that is the corporate language. We believe you have an engineering background, a relevant academic degree, or equivalent work experience within the given field of expertise.
