Responsibilities
As an Electrical Engineer in our Engineering, Grid & Control department you can expect to be responsible for the following tasks:
- Examine grid connection requirements for wind power plants and translate those into control parameters to meet the requirements for upcoming Pre-Owned sales or Aftersales projects
- Field test and handover of systems to customers and utilities
- Sales and construction support to our service and Pre-Owned turbine market
- Solve control problems on wind power plants and answer customer questions
- Interface with internal R&D and regional colleagues to ensure knowledge sharing and alignment on development projects
For you to be able to deliver on the abovementioned responsibilities we believe that you should be able to identify yourself with the following:
- You have relevant technical education in electrical engineering, e.g., Electrical Power Systems or similar related to the position
- Good communication skills in English
- Good understanding of the concepts of Power System stability, High Voltage systems, and Grid integration
- Experience in working with Grid codes, turbine models and control systems
- Experience with control systems and good overall knowledge of PLC technology
- Field experience
