IT Manager to Alligator Bioscience AB

We are now looking for an IT Manager to join our highly purpose-driven team, working towards our common goal of delivering best-in-class treatments for patients with hard-to-treat cancers. In your role you will be leading key infrastructure projects and be overall responsible for Alligators IT. Alligator Bioscience is a clinical stage biotech company situated in the Medicon Village science park in Lund, southern Sweden. We develop innovative antibody treatments for cancer patients. Our most advanced program, mitazalimab, is in clinical Phase II trials in Europe and our pipeline includes additional ongoing Phase I trials as well as several pre-clinical development projects.  We are currently approx. 55 employees. YOUR ROLE

Joining our team in the role as IT Manager you will be overall responsible for Alligator’s IT and infrastructure. You will work in several ongoing and planned IT and infrastructure projects as a project manager responsible for project’s deliverables, project planning and action follow-up.

To ensure the continued development of Alligator towards our ambition to become one of the world’s leading companies within immune oncology, you will be responsible for securing and maturing Alligator’s IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyze, plan, carry out and oversee our IT and infrastructure projects

  • Ensure that all IT and infrastructure activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, quality standards and legal requirements

  • Analyze organizational needs, processes, technologies and vendors to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement in order to boost productivity, efficiency and accuracy  

  • Manage IT budget and ensure that the IT infrastructure, policies and processes support Alligator’s business objectives in a cost-efficient manner

  • Manage and act as contact point for IT consultants/vendors in cooperation with stakeholders and subject-matter experts at Alligator

  • Make sure that we have appropriate IT, cyber security and traceability to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all business-critical data across the organization

  • Create and implement the organization’s IT policy and best practice manuals

  • Day-to-day problem solving in collaboration with employees and management

  • Plan and carry out workshops and training for staff to ensure that our employees have appropriate IT education


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re looking for someone who understands the needs of our organization and can translate the needs into technical requirements in order to meet our business objectives. We believe that you have a minimum of five years IT project management and/or IT deployment experience as well as a good understanding of the pharma-/biotech industry. You have a great interest and understanding of hardware, software and IT security in complex environments. You are a self-motivated and goal-oriented leader with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. You have the ability to empower, motivate and inspire people you work with.
