Polypeptide is the world leading manufacturer of peptide APIs with 820 employees world wide and 220 employees in Sweden. The Group Controller will have a key role in the financial consolidation, reporting and controlling of the Group, consisting the global head office and operations in Sweden and entities world wide. Preparing and controlling the monthly and annual financial reports and statements for the Group. This also includes preparation of the Group Annual Report. Participate updating and maintaining Group Transfer Pricing documentation. Assisting with the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts for the Group. Controller visits to the local entinties including assisting updating financial accounting manual / guidance. Some ad hoc tasks for our Swedish Holding company, e.g. Controlling CAPEX investments, Submission of statistical information, tax declarations to the Swedish authorities etc.Other duties that is included in the service:
- Assisting with implementation of Performance Management tool to support consolidation.
- Assisting with ad hoc work and business cases.
- Support to the CFO and Director Group Accounting on Performance Reports.
- Participation in the Global Finance Meetings
We expect you to have a University degree in Business Administration or an equivalent education as well as an in-depth knowledge in various financial systems, rules and regulations minimum of 2-4 years of experience as Group or Financial Controlling, with an initial background from e.g. an accounting firm and with some basic knowledge of IFRS. You are a super-user of Excel and it is an advantage if you have experience with Performance Management software and Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.
As a person, you are a team player, dynamic, outgoing and accustomed to working with details and deadlines. You bring a positive "can-do" attitude to the Finance team and company. You need to be able to speak Swedish and English fluently, both written and spoken.
