A day in the life of a Supply Chain Development Manager
As a Supply Chain Development Manager, you will be a part of the Supply Chain team in Nordics. You will contribute to the execution of development initiatives throughout the entire supply chain and ensure our end to end customer journey is continuously improved. Improvements are based on your experience and ability to analyze, define and plan for projects that continue to put us on the front edge. Your contribution in developing our last mile delivery set-up and E-commerce Supply Chain processes will be of vital importance.

This role encompasses both long- and short-term projects where you act as both project manager for cross-functional Nordic projects and the expert in the supply field.

You will participate in several key business process meetings, and act as an advisor by being a sparring partner and will be coaching other employees. You will be responsible for certain projects on your own, while others will require that you build the necessary internal project for the organization to succeed.

Essential duties and responsibilities
As a Supply Chain Development Manager, you will also be responsible for the following tasks:
  • Generate and update process maps and workflows of existing processes to identify scope for improvement and potential points of failure.
  • Design and recommend process improvement: including business case development, costing, and feasibility.
  • Project manage the implementation of process improvement initiatives.
  • Build effective relationships across the business with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and engagement with process improvement activity.
  • Create, update and distribute periodical KPI and status dashboards and reports.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone that is used to take initiatives and seeks responsibility. You strive for influence by involving the peers around you. Good thoughts and ideas will be the start, but you do not stop until execution is completed. Your actions are based on analysis, judgement and by taking in input from others.

You hold a Master's degree in Business Administration/Supply Chain, as well as, have some years of work experience from supply chain or logistics operations, preferably from FMCG. You have a deep understanding of the full E2E supply chain and can understand how your decisions impact it and the stakeholders involved, all the way from forecast to delivery. You are highly skilled in project management and have the tools and relationship qualities to make the team reach the targets. Since omnichannel and digital are focus areas for us, a background in e-commerce will serve as a plus.

You speak English and have knowledge of one Nordic language. You have built a strong understanding and experience with Excel, Data analysis (PowerBI or similar) and ERP systems. High level of problem solving, and analytical skills are desired.
