Area of responsibilities
As our Nordic Online Trade Marketing Specialist at Royal Canin, you contribute to reaching the growth objectives for the brand in Nordic e-commerce Pure Players and key Omni-Channel retailers via maximizing the exposure and performance of Royal Canin portfolio by planning, executing and measuring our online merchandising and promotional strategy.
Royal Canin has embarked on a journey of significant Omni-Channel transformation and in order to reach our ambitions in the online channel, you will hold a fundamental customer facing role in landing key initiatives to support sales and brand equity growth within the Nordic region.
You are responsible for planning, executing and measuring our merchandising and promotional strategy and tactics with key online and Omni-Channel customers, to ensure a consistent and high-quality shopper experience for current and future Royal Canin shoppers.
As a key member of a small team, you will have the opportunity to influence and shape future ways of working within the team as well as cross-functionally to ensure future proofing the organization for market dynamics as well as agility in leveraging market opportunities.
You will closely collaborate and align with local marketing teams to drive and develop key trade marketing initiatives in the online channel as well as actively participate in a growing regional network of functional experts.
We believe that you are passionate about shopper marketing in the online channel, have a commercial mindset and don’t shy away from numbers and details. You will work strategically and hands-on when needed with a lot of customer contact, you like to be in a fast pace environment and have a proven ability of achieving great results by driving initiatives independently.
As a person, you strive for constantly developing yourself and thrive when having great responsibility. Aspiration for future roles within e-commerce is a plus.
To succeed in the role, we believe that you need to have a University degree in Business. You have at least three years’ experience in Trade Marketing or Sales, preferably in a multinational environment and with exposure to eCommerce and/or digital marketing. Further, we believe that you have a strong ability to understand the Royal Canin Brand & values and our marketplace.
Fluency in English and at least one Nordic language is required (spoken and written).
