As Brand Manager, you will be responsible for one of our biggest brand in the Nordics - EXTRA. The main responsibility is to make sure the long-term strategic plan is executed and lived after throughout the organization. Local transition of global content and strategies with the use of social media will be an important factor to succeed in this role.
We have a strong presence in the market and are dedicated to continue to drive this market leading brand forward by developing the category and retail environment and add new innovations in the segment. Looking ahead, our growth plan is filled with exciting actions and you will play a key role in making sure we deliver to the plan as expected.

- Act as key person in engaging Sales and other departments in the brand plan to maintain and develop our leading market position
- Build business cases for new launches
- Adopt global Brand Concepts to fit the Nordic market, portfolio and social media channels
- Actively participate in internal forums to develop actions and improvements
- Engaging external stakeholders such as creative and media buying agencies
- Execution of our Brand Strategies based on consumer insights
The Confectionery team currently consists of 9 colleagues with 3 focusing primarily on the Gum segment. You will form a close team with the Group Brand Manager, Brand Activation Manager and student-worker for Gum in making sure the strategic plan is executed.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has previous experience within the marketing field, would like to contribute with this experience when securing and developing our market lead, and potentially develop towards a Group Brand Manager role or other direction within the company.Other
This is a permanent role starting as soon as possible. The Brand Manager will report to Marketing Director Confectionery with dotted line to Group Brand Manager Gum.
The position is placed at Mars Nordics office in Ørestad (just minutes outside the center of Copenhagen and 25 minutes from Malmö C), and includes 15-20 days of travelling per year.About us

- Minimum 3 years of FMCG marketing experience
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics or equivalent
- Fluent in English and one of the Nordic languages
- Experience in Project Management
- Experience in Product portfolio management
- Experience from social digital platforms
- Advanced skills in MS Office
