ABOUT THE JOB
As our Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager in managing the team of Waiters and Hostesses. In your role of Head Sommelier, you will oversee the wine card and ensure a high expertise throughout the Marchal team in order to give our guests the best wine recommendations. You will be a role model in practicing service at a Michelin level. You must maintain high guest loyalty throughout high guest satisfaction and ensure that all guests receive a unique and magical experience. In other words by developing and managing your team, you will ensure that our guests are elevated through each interaction.
That you have experience in management in a similar position and experience from the luxury segment. We expect that you are an educated waiter or sommelier with experience from Michelin-restaurant. You must be able to professionally manage a, from time to time, very hectic day where guests are always at the center. We expect that you are detail-oriented and able to keep the grand overview, while being sincerely passionate and engaged with both guests and employees. You are a visible and active team member and ensure a good corporation with the rest of the hotel. In other words with your professional skills and outgoing personality, we expect that you will be able to create unique results and experiences for our guests at any time.
