REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER TO INCOAX NETWORKS

You will play a crucial part in defining and documenting requirements for our products. Considering it is a new role, you will have the opportunity to influence what tools to use and how requirements management should be carried out in our development process. In your daily work, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, system architects and development engineers to understand customer needs and translate them into clear and concise technical requirements. Furthermore, you are expected to conduct in-depth analysis of InCoax products to identify functional and non-functional requirements. Other areas of responsibility:

• Define and document detailed specifications, use cases, and system requirements to guide the design, implementation, and verification of our products.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize and validate requirements and ensure their successful implementation.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to the development teams throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with testing and quality assurance to verify that requirements are met and participate in the resolution of any issues or defects.
  

The position is based in either Lund or Gävle. There may be limited traveling to customers, partners and our office in Lund/Gävle. You will report to the Head of Development who is based in Lund.

This role requires you to be an individual with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone with several years of proven experience as a Requirements Engineer or similar role, with a focus on internet networking infrastructure. You have proficiency in requirement management tools and methodologies and preferably, you also bring knowledge of networking protocols, standards, and technologies. We expect you to have a relevant engineering degree and to be fluent in English, spoken and written.

Fiber networks are being installed in streets at a rapid pace, but the cost and complexity of connecting buildings and apartments with high-speed, high-bandwidth services represents the Last Mile Challenge. Full fiber deployment is an expensive undertaking. Therefore, it makes sense to use the free capacity in existing coaxial networks without the need to install fiber in the buildings or apartments. InCoax provides solutions for customers to reach Gigabit internet speeds in a smart and cost-efficient way.
