At Ideon in Lund we develop and manufacture reactors for new semiconductor materials. We have a solid experience and knowledge of building CVD reactors and in recent years the design has been refined into a completely new platform with a patented function that is unique on the global market. Our silicon carbide and gallium nitride semiconductor material systems are used for components in base stations for the 5G network, electric cars, solar cells, photovoltaic systems and many other areas in the electricity sector.

You will build all aspects of production machines (mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, plumbing) and your daily work will also include to conduct diagnostic and setup of configuration and calibration among other things. Furthermore, you will manage all manufacturing test data associated with Acceptance testing (ATL), troubleshoot testing activity discrepancies and work with Engineering and R&D groups as required to resolve diverse & complex issues found during test. Other areas of responsibility:

• Maintain build schedule and material flow and address bottlenecks with engineering and other functional groups
• Responsible for working to meet shipping schedule goals and troubleshoot all aspects of production tools.
• Ensure discrepant parts and design problems are conveyed to the supervisor and management team.
• Follow all safety protocols while building & testing tools
• Identify and provide improvements of test methods for existing products

Collaborate with Engineering to develop methodologies for new products/component

We expect you to have the capability to engage broadly in our manufacturing processes. With your critical thinking and quality-conscious in your approach, you possess the ability to see a process through from start to finish. You bring a couple of years of experience related to manufacturing and/or test, and knowledge of hand tools and light metalworking skills (drilling and tapping metal). You also possess the ability to navigate through different software programs such as Excel, Word, CAD and SolidWorks. It is also essential that you have a relevant educational background.

Veeco SiC CVD Systems AB, former Epiluvac, is a company founded in 2013 by a team of dedicated and persistent engineers with research and development experience from the CVD reactor field and specifically silicon carbide epitaxy equipment. Veeco provides customized reactor solutions and a wide range of service and maintenance packages. Everything from a laptop charger to a renewable power plant or an electric vehicle requires conversion of electricity by power electronics based on semiconductor materials.
