The Automation & Digital organisation within Tetra Pak is now looking for a System Engineer with a focus on virtualisation and virtual verification. The Automation & Digital organisation is responsible for the development and deployment of our digital products that enable business value like predictive maintenance and traceability, to name a few. To enable test automation and high software quality in development, with strong dependencies on the physical environment, it is essential that we have a strong virtualisation capability.What you will do
In this role you will play a key role in a central team focusing on verification and validation strategy, and particularly on how to support and achieve DevOps in machine automation. You will work closely with an existing SAFe system team, Automation Reference Architecture (ARA) team and development teams.You will focus on:
- System-wide perspective, covering the full solution scope, including life-cycle and integration requirements for different projects
- Support evolution of V&V strategy for all development phases, from lab scale to integration and deployment
- Define requirements, architecture, interfaces, integration plan and validation plan
- Develop V&V test specifications enabled by virtualisation of the physical domain
- Forward-looking perspective on how to virtualise and automate the physical domain
- Coach teams in using virtualisation
This position will be located in Lund, but you will work in a global arena. Some travelling is required.Who you are
We are looking for a creative, driven and self-motivated individual who works well in a team. You have good communication skills and easily manage stakeholders. You are comfortable and used to informal leadership roles. It is required that you have excellent English skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong presentation skills.
A University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechanical Engineering or similar with a complementary relevant specialisation is crucial. You also have extensive experience with the complete software engineering process and DevOps practices, equipment automation and real-time PLC execution. You are familiar with tools and hardware such as Simulink, TrySim and IndustrialPhysics, and you have proven experience in systems engineering or system-level test management.We offer
