The Automation & Digital organisation within Tetra Pak is now looking for a senior DevOps Engineer that can take the lead in the areas of Configuration Management, Continuous Integration and Release Automation.
The Automation & Digital organisation is responsible for the development and deployment of our digital products that enable business value such as predictive maintenance and traceability, to name a few. To support the company's strategic direction of increasing the focus on automation & digital, it is essential that we develop and deploy software with a known quality.What you will do
In this senior role you will play a key part in anchoring the DevOps and Configuration management capability in our organisation. You will work closely with highly skilled DevOps Engineers, development teams and other key stakeholders such as IT and Service.You will focus on:
- Software Configuration Management within the IT / Industrial Automation application area
- Together with counterparts, define and support the total Configuration Management need within Tetra Pak (software components, dependencies to physical components).
- In collaboration with our product development organisations, participate in the alignment and deployment of Software Configuration Management solutions
This position will be located in Lund, but you will work in a global arena. Some travelling is required.Who you are
We are looking for a person with a structured and analytical mindset. We believe that you are a good team player that supports your less experienced colleagues. Your communication skills are outstanding, and you are used to informal leadership roles. It is required that you have excellent English skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong presentation skills. You hold a University Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar knowledge, and extensive experience of the complete software engineering process and DevOps practices. You also have solid experience in team collaboration and the agile way of working, and preferably SAFe as well.
You have hands-on experience with related tools and hardware e.g. Microsoft TFS, SubVersion, GIT, TeamCity/Bamboo/Jenkins, Artifactory, Metrics visualisation, code analysis (SonarCube etc), Virtualisation, Network and System Infrastructure, integration with Product Data Management and Product Lifecycle Management Systems.We offer
