Patent Attorney Trainees - Lifesciences - Lund

We are now recruiting candidates for our Patent Attorney Trainee Program, with employment at our office at Medicon Village in Lund.
As a candidate, you have a PhD within organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, nanoscience, biomedicine, molecular biology, or related fields. Experience from research in the lifescience industry is a merit. You are fluent in English and Swedish, both orally and in writing, and you are able to communicate to an audience with confidence.
Duties as a patent attorney range from developing intellectual property based commercialisation strategies, over drafting and prosecution of patent applications, patentability analyses of new inventions, assessment of infringement and validity of patents, and assistance with licensing agreements, IP due diligence, and to litigation.

As a patent attorney trainee you will be offered a comprehensive training program during the initial 3-5 years leading up to a European Patent Attorney (EPA) degree. A part of the training is conducted within the framework of your daily work, but you will need to allocate a part of your private time to patent training during the coming years. As a trainee at our office at Medicon Village in Lund you will also spend parts of your work timeat our HQ in Copenhagen, where you will attend our training program, external courses, and interact closely with your colleagues/mentors.
