As an expert in the field of patient transfer and lifting solutions, Liko has been a part of Hill-Rom since 2008.
Founded in 1979 by Swedish engineer and designer Gunnar Liljedahl, Liko's expertise is based on over 30 years in business, specializing in products for the safe lifting and transfer of patients in the healthcare environment. The Liko brand portfolio includes high quality and innovative lifts, slings, transfer aids and lift accessories.

Today, Liko is fully integrated in the Hill-Rom organization and has transformed from an entrepreneurial and product oriented company to a global company. The site in Luleå is shifting its focus from product to production to become even more efficient and capable of supplying the global market with high quality products. In an effort to reinforce this change, Liko is now looking to hire a Business Developer.


Integrated into an international IT team (5 team members) you'll be the link between the business and the IT systems. You will serve as a resource and a project manager in order to translate business requirements into process or technical systems solutions.


As a Business Developer your main responsibility is simplify and improve processes and systems, you'll be responsible for gathering and understanding business requirements and translate them into creative solutions. You will work together with the business to make strategic decisions regarding process and system improvements and you will act as a project manager within your area of responsibility.

Your assignment will involve specification, coordination with developers, testing, acceptance, documentation and post go-live support. This will give you the opportunity to develop project plans, resource requirements, timelines, dependencies, and budgets.


Having an engineer diploma or equivalent, you have good knowledge of software management, ideally ERP skills (JDE/SAP). Your analytical skills are mandatory and technically oriented within development.

You are organized and can work both autonomously and inteams. We would also like for you to be problem solving oriented. Furthermore you have good communication skills and ideally 3-5 years' experience in a similar position. Your English is fluent.
