Akind is a family of brands working together with the aim of making people and business grow. Headquartered in Stockholm, we currently have operations in six countries, more than 10,000 employees and growing. We are now looking for a Paralegal to join our legal team.

As Paralegal at Akind your main tasks will be to provide support to the legal team and establish, develop and maintain processes within corporate law. You will be coordinating and handling the incoming legal matters from the organization as well as supporting our colleagues with administrative matters. Developing processes for contract management, protocols and how we structure our corporate documents will also be one of your areas, as well as supporting the team within different projects. Furthermore, you will be making sure we keep up to date with legislation changes in any of the countries we operate within that may affect our industry and organization by researching and gathering information for the team.

Being part of our international legal team based in Linköping and Stockholm, you will be working with several companies and functions within the group but still close to the business. We are a team with a mix of experiences and competencies, all senior colleagues eager to share their knowledge both within the team and the organization so that we may grow together. Act as the organizations first point of contact for incoming corporate legal matters and coordinate to the team.

Support the legal team with contract management, structure corporate documents, collecting signatures etc.

Ensure we keep up to date with relevant changes in the legislation for the countries we operate within by research and fact gathering.

Gather and analyze legal articles, documents and other data

Coordinate and develop compliance risk assessments

1-2 years work experience as Paralegal, Executive Assistant or similar

Experience from working with and coordinate between several stakeholders

Good communication skills, English is a requirement while Swedish is a plus

It is an advantage if you have an education as a Paralegal or previous experience from working at a law-firm, but not a requirement. In this role, your service-mindedness, and the ability to get things done will be the key to success. Furthermore, we believe you have a curious mindset and drive to work with continuous improvement and problem solving. Contract: Full-time

Location: Linköping

Recruitment process: The first step in the recruitment process is to apply with your CV or LinkedIn, no cover letter is necessary. If you fulfill the requirements for the position, you will then receive an email asking you to complete two tests by Assessio. One is a personality mapping which takes about 20 minutes to complete, the other a cognitive ability test which takes 12 minutes to complete. The reason why we use tests is to ensure a solid and fair recruitment process focusing on potential for the position we are hiring for rather than your CV. If you proceed, the next step is a telephone interview and then a behavioral descriptive interview with Lisette Lind, Talent Acquisition Manager and Emma Hall, Group Legal Manager. For our final candidates, there will be an opportunity to meet with some of the team for a digital fika and an opportunity to ask your future teammates any questions regarding the role or what it is like working with us at Akind.
