About the position

Akind is a family of brands working together with the aim of making people and business grow. Headquartered in Stockholm and with offices in several European cities, we currently have operations in six countries, more than 10,000 employees and growing. We continuously strive to improve ourselves by providing the best possible expertise to our clients and are now looking for a Financial Controller focusing on liquidity to further strengthen our international finance department.

As Group Financial Controller Liquidity, you will be working with financial reporting, analysis and forecasting on Group level, focusing mainly on cashflow and liquidity. During the past year, the finance function at Akind was centralized and with that, the liquidity area, which is why we are now adding a new role to our team. Your main tasks will be to develop and be responsible for our liquidity forecast and continuously work with improvements of reporting and analysis of our liquidity. You will also provide analysis and support in financial figures and statistics as well as explaining deviations between forecast and actuals to stakeholders within Akind.

The financial control team consists of two other Financial Controllers and two System Specialists, which you will be working closely with to ensure process development and continuous improvement within liquidity. In 2021 we implemented a new financial system, Workday, for all financial processes in the group. We have come a long way since then but are continuously and systematically working with process and system development.

As Group Financial Controller Liquidity at Akind, you are our expert, sharing your knowledge within the team and organization as well as identifying opportunities for improvement so that we may grow together with you.

You will be part of a finance department based in Linköping with approximately 35 fulltime and part-time employees in various roles and processes. Working at our Headquarter in Stockholm is also a possibility for this role.   • Produce, develop and be responsible for cashflow and liquidity forecast on Group level.
  • Initiate and be responsible for the development of financial reporting within liquidity.
  • Together with our System Specialists, build and develop processes for us to follow up on KPIs linked to liquidity.
  • Prepare monthly reports to staff functions and sister companies as well as compile the monthly Board report.

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in group accounting and/or financial controlling
  • University degree within finance
  • Good communication skills, English is a requirement while Swedish is a plus
It is an advantage if you have experience from working with Workday and Solver but not a requirement. Location: Linköping or Stockholm
