Location: Landskrona - hybrid setup, occasional travelling (up to 20% on a yearly basis)

PU Security Entrance Control & Revolving Doors is a newly formed product unit in ASSA ABLOY. We develop and maintain product such as revolving doors, speedgates, portals and exit lanes. This product portfolio is used by our customers globally on daily basis, and your role will be to both improve it as well as act as a visionary for our brand-new products!
What would you do as a R&D Software and Electronics Manager
Within this newly created role, as part of the R&D Management Team, you will lead, coach & continuously develop the Software and Electronics organization within PU SEC & RD. You are line manager for a team consisting of our skilled Software and Electronics Engineers, based in Sweden and Germany. You will collaborate closely with other stakeholders, one of them being the App Development Team.
In this role you are also technical product owner for the different control systems in our products. That means you will lead pre-studies to explore new technology or customer value as well as planning for new control systems and maintaining the existing ones.
You will also support our transformation journey, building and reorganizing processes to ensure that together with stakeholders we are designing for cost, manufacturing and service.
Required profile:
We are looking for someone who:
•Has minimum of 5 years relevant working experience, being hands-on in either software development or embedded systems development.
•Has a Master’s Degree in engineering or equivalent.
•Has deep knowledge and understanding of project management and agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
•Ideally some prior people management experience or is willing to become a People Manager
•Has good understanding of complex multifunctional global projects
•Is a skilled communicator who can influence and inspire others
