Summer Trainee Operations Engineer

Do you want to join us during the summer as an Operations Engineer and operate Telia Company’s Nordic and Baltic network, which is the largest in the region. You will monitor and operate our networks to provide maximum performance and availability for our customers.

We ensure excellent customer experience 24/7/365, you as a summer trainee will support the 24/7 teams during daytime. We are looking to onboard you as an Operations Engineer with a genuine interest in technology, and a problem-solving and simplifying mindset, who can prioritize and handle multiple tasks with ease under pressure.

You will be in the forefront in a fast-paced monitoring team with a strong focus on identifying, analysing, reporting, and solving incidents to meet customer needs and secure customer satisfaction.

The role requires close collaboration with other units who support you with technical solutions where you get the chance to strengthen your technical skills.

Your responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and handling our network and services with an end-to-end perspective
• Controlling implementations and planned works as part of the change management process.
• Daily operations in terms of managing critical situations and escalation management
• Managing the distribution of information both in- and externally.
• Triggering the Problem Management process and following up

Who are you?

Your experience:

• Studies concluding with a technical and/or engineering degree
• Fluent interaction and communications skills in both English and Swedish
• Ability to quickly adopt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment

The employment is in a secure facility and therefore, Swedish citizenship is required. You will be subject to a security check.
