In our team within Material Technology we are dedicated to the materials connected to our high voltage cables. In the role as Material Engineer, you will be working with the traits and functionality of these materials. The focus will lay on in-depth understanding of polymer, oil or paper materials and how they should be processed. Together with the process support group you will have a close collaboration with the R&D teams as well as with production and delivery projects.
Evaluate and collaborate with possible material suppliers is another important task in this role.

Who are you?
In order to excel in the role as Material Engineer at NKT you have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Material Engineering, similar education or equivalent work experience. If you have experience from oil, paper or polymer materials it's a merit.
Flexibility is certainly a motivator for you since you will be a part of a cross-functional team where everyone supports where currently needed. You are a systematic problem solver by nature; seeking solutions through tests, investigations and by consulting others' expertise where required. You view problems as challenges and see them as new opportunities for learning.
Communication is key, and you manage effective although friendly relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders not only through this but also with your strong collaboration skills. Your positive and convincing attitude leads to successful teams and creative solutions.
You have a strong and persistent will to deliver on-time with high quality systematically following processes and standards set. Your Swedish and English are fluent, both written and spoken.
Full time, starting date on agreement.
