

MRO Buyer
AAK is looking for an MRO Buyer to the Purchasing Department.
About the position
For our Nordic Procurement Team we are now looking for our next colleague to join as a MRO buyer to cover AAK:s two biggest production sites in Karlshamn and Aarhus but also the AAK site in Dalby.
We are a dedicated team working with high involvement and quick response time. We deliver cost effective solutions to ensure a best in practice procure to pay procedures for AAK. The Nordic Procurement Team is also closely a part of the Regional European Procurement Team.
As MRO Buyer you will manage a number of different suppliers for various MRO categories.
Preferably you are based in Karlshamn but also Aarhus can be discussed. The MRO buyer reports to the Purchasing Manager of the Nordics, with a strong "dotted line" to the Category Manager MRO Nordic.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
In the role as MRO Buyer you will develop and maintain vendor relationships to achieve better cost management (TCO) and quality services and materials.
You will work in various cross-functional local and regional teams and projects to attain strategic and/or category objectives and also building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, maximizing the category visibility and with a special focus on TCO. Your areas of expertise cover negotiate agreements with suppliers on different services and materials. The role includes travel approximately 20-30 days per annul, primarily within the Nordics.
Who are you?
To be successful in your role you hold a relevant university degree in supply chain, purchasing or a related discipline. We believe that you have several years of commercial experience and knowledge from MRO buying. If you also have experience in sustainability buying, is it meritorious.
You have great communication skills – verbally as well in writing. We are an international company, therefore fluency in English is a prerequisite.
You appreciate the challenges of ensuring effective communication with the business and managing the supply base to support the agendas of the various businesses. In your role it is important to have strong customer focus and appreciate building long-term relations.
To be successful you need to be pro-active and highly motivated to deliver cost savings. You have a structured way of working and interacting with different stakeholders as well as your colleagues. Although you enjoy working independently with achieving set objectives you also appreciate committed teamwork to reach team objectives. You will be working both locally and regionally and must therefore also have an international mindset.
